If you view the Old Testament food laws as “Health Food from God”, then you’re missing the point of those laws. The Lord gave those food laws to drive home the point that the nation of Israel was different than everybody else. Yet many are wanting to run back to the feasts and food laws in order to be separate today. Yet what separates us from the world is not what food we eat, but by living a holy life like Jesus Christ.
