Jesus taught in Matthew 6:12-15 – ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen .’ “For if you forgive men for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. “But if you do not forgive men, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.
That is a shocking statement. If you don’t forgive, you will not be forgiven, it’s just that simple. In this sermon we will look at Jesus’ teaching on the absolute necessity of forgiveness towards others.
