As believers it is important at times to do spiritual inventory, and to do it specifically on our “saltiness” and whether or not we are losing any of our taste as true believers in this dark world. Especially in view of Jesus saying, “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.” – Matthew 5:13
