Bible: Psalm 133:1-3

We must not withhold our fellowship from any faithful brethren because they don’t think exactly like us, but we must understand who we have unity with and who we can have true fellowship with. We cannot approve of and agree with those who have no real love for Christ’s Gospel. We cannot make people think we are in agreement with them when in reality we differ on the most basic truth. That is a false unity that we must turn away from. Peace with false Christians is not purchased by sacrificing the truth. Unity must not be sought at the expense of the Gospel.

Running down on the collar of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there…” That is, where brothers dwell together in unity. “…there the LORD has commanded the blessing, even life forevermore.” I want to speak, in my one session, on the blessedness of Christians dwelling together in unity.
